
Get Active in the Garden State!
It is not possible to run out of things to do when you visit a New Jersey state park. All told, there are over 50 state parks and recreational areas in the state of New Jersey. With so much to do, you are going to wish you had more time. You can hunt, fish, bike, boat, golf, hike and even go horseback riding in many of the New Jersey State Parks.
Probably the most well known state park is High Point State Park, which is located in northwest New Jersey. It is the ideal place for many winter activities because it is bordered by the Kittatinny Mountains. Inside the park, you have the great High Point Monument, which was built in 1930 and stands over 220 feet tall.
There are many activities for your family and friends to do in New Jersey State Parks, including dog sledding and fishing; you can never get bored visiting New Jersey!
