Kittatinny Valley State Park

Kittatinny Valley State Park is located just outside Andover, New Jersey and includes 3,641 acres of protected land. It is the home of two lakes, two ponds and a wealth of native wildlife, and Kittatinny Valley Park also hosts the Aeroflex-Andover Airport.
Hike at Kittatinny Valley State Park
Kittatinny Valley State Park offers miles of trails with views of everything from rock formations to lakes to remnants of an old railroad. The majority of the park's trail system is split between the 27-mile Paulinskill Valley Trail and the 20-mile Sussex Branch Trail.
Mountain Bike at Kittatinny Valley State Park
One unique attraction offered by Kittatinny Valley is the park's eight miles of mountain biking trails. Not only do these trails offer rides suitable for bikers of all skill levels, but they are also used for several annual competitions.
Fish at Kittatinny Valley State Park
As home to Lake Aeroflex, Gardner's Pond, White's Pond and the Twin Lakes, Kittatinny Valley State Park offers several popular fishing spots. Bluegill, brown and rainbow trout, largemouth bass and panfish are all native to the park. In 2006, the state started stocking Lake Aeroflex with landlocked salmon, making it one of the only places in New Jersey where anglers can catch these fish. All of the lakes are fished from their shores, and only White's Pond is lacking a boat ramp.
Kittatinny Valley State Park in New Jersey offers outdoorsman of every age and interest a wide variety of ways to enjoy nature. The park has no entry fee, and is open from sunrise to sunset all year.
